The two years I spent at COE have proved to be the most amazing two years of my schooling career. An environment filled with teachers who genuine care about the success of every learner and our general well-being. The school is unquestionably a centre of excellence, growth and a high-quality education. It provided me with exposure to various exta-curricular activities as well as excellent academic achievement. Thank you will never adequately express my gratitude for the contribution of COE in shaping my career and my future. The transition to a new school can be very scary and intimidating but I can assure prospective families that their children will be in the best hands with the teachers and stuff members.

It is a great honor to express that indeed Centre of Excellence is the best school to learn and to become a better student and a better person in life. The educators are phenomenal, they don't just become teachers but they become parents which inspire students. I believe if you listen and follow the teachers directions there is no reason why you shouldn't pass with flying colors. I am very grateful for getting a chance to attend and be part of Excellence. We are in these different types of Universities pursing careers of our dreams, we give a high gratitude to Centre infact all the staff of Centre of Excellence. Not to forget all the sacrifices of attending during weekends, I salute of Centre of Excellence you are the best. The biggest adventure you can take is to study at Excellence for it produces Medical, Law, Pharmacy, Accounting students, etc.

When I think about the journey that led me to Centre of Excellence high school, the thing that comes to mind is that the “stars will always align, and the universe works in your favour. My name is Ongezwa Mila Damba and I formally occupied the position of deputy head girl in the year 2018. Failing grade 11 at my previous school in 2016 was the worst thing that could happen. I remember struggling to get accepted into any good schools the following year. My mother was informed by her friend about the Centre of Excellence High school, and all we could do was take a leap of faith and apply. Little did I know that this would be my second chance at a proper education, and also a “home” away from home. Not only did my academics improve, but the teachers also went an extra mile with the teaching and gave us extra lessons. They ensured that every learner succeeded and reach their full potential. Additionally, the school and its staff ensured we partake in debates, public speaking, career expos, school events and sports as well. I am proud to call myself a former scholar, and I hold that position with dignity because if it was not for the Centre of Excellence, I would not be where I am today. It gives me utmost joy to hear that the school is growing and pray that it continue to spread the good news, that the transformation it makes and the second chance it gives students is ongoing. My highlights would have to be the matric ball season, that is a time to be alive. My experience at Centre of Excellence has to be on for the books. Like most journeys, I went through every emotion but most importantly I came out a better person with a National Certificate that opened numerous doors for me. I am proud to be a product of the school because now I ooze confidence wherever I am in life. I am today because of Centre of Excellence.
